Chocolaterie & Ethnic Lounge

Le mardi 13 mars 2007

Yet ANOTHER beautiful day! Three warm, sunny days in a row! No need to say, that’s a rare thing here in Greyland! I went to the campus before my psychology class to sign my FINAL Learning Agreement signed by my dear contact professor like I said I would and he confirmed I could but my dear contact professor was not at his office… So! On with my class, seems like everyone was in a summer vacations mood because I’d never seen a loudest class (in University).

I then went to print a few copies of my CV. “Why” are you asking yourself? Well! With all that free time once the lab are over, and my very empty wallet, I thought it would be nice to bring my resume to a few shops… CHOCOLATE shops! How COOL would it be to be able to say “I worked in a Belgian chocolate shop IN BRUSSELS and MADE the chocolate myself!” Not counting the discounts I could get! My only problem was that I didn’t have a picture on my CV (yep, here you always give a picture, sex, nationality and age information apparently!) So my detour was for nothing, I’ll be back on Saturday! While I was going from “chocolaterie” to “chocolaterie”, I also found THE souvenir I wanted form Europe… well, it’s not really a souvenir, it’s more a piece of clothing… but anyways, I had been looking for something like that for a while, and I found it! 28 euros!
